Pre-Weigh Technician
Location: Livermore, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Salary: $19 to $21 depending on experience
A well-known supplement manufacturer in the
Tri-Valley area is seeking a Pre-Weigh Technician I to support
production and facility operations. This is a hands-on role for an experienced
maintenance professional in a manufacturing environment.
Summary:
The Pre-Weigh Technician accurately weighs raw materials according to product
formulas and batch records to support production operations. This position
ensures quality, safety, and compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing
environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret work orders, formulas, and
Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs)
·
Accurately weigh and document raw materials per
batch records
·
Pull and inspect raw materials from warehouse
(must have release approval)
·
Operate small blender for premixes; clean and
sanitize equipment after use
·
Complete cleaning logs and production
documentation
·
Transfer pre-weighed materials to blending
department
·
Utilize ERP system for inventory tracking and
material transfers
·
Meet or exceed daily production goals
·
Follow all SOPs, GMPs, and safety regulations
(OSHA, FDA, SQF, HACCP)
Qualifications:
·
High school diploma or equivalent
·
2+ years manufacturing experience
(food/nutraceutical preferred)
·
GMP/SQF knowledge preferred
·
Forklift certification a plus
·
Strong math and attention to detail
·
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
·
Comfortable working in warehouse environment
(varying temperatures, PPE required)
·
Bilingual a plus
