Sanitation Technician - Olivehurst
Position Description
Lobos Staffing is currently hiring Sanitation Workers for a food processing facility located in Olivehurst. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment.
Job Summary
Sanitation Workers are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, machinery, and work areas throughout the facility. This position also requires the proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals while following all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Job Duties
- Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment and machinery, including scraping, brushing, blowing, and sanitizing equipment.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
- Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals according to established safety procedures.
- Clean overhead areas and other assigned areas of the facility.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Follow all documented procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous sanitation or food manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
- Ability to read and understand written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Basic understanding of workplace procedures.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Comfortable climbing and working at heights.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to follow GMP and food safety practices.
- Must be dependable, responsible, and safety-conscious.

Physical Requirements
This position requires employees to perform physical cleaning activities throughout the facility, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and working at heights.
